My grandmother and her father are from Luxora. Do you happen to know if any Lynch's are buried in the area. My greatgrandfather was Samuel Oscar or just Oscar Lynch. He died sometime around 1950. My grandmother was raised by an Uncle in Memphis, so she lost contact with her dad. My mother only remembers seeing him once. I saw where you live in Millington. I have family from my dads side that live in the Halls area. Teri Royston Circlerfarms@msn.com

My interest started via the Eckles/Echols family. Rebecca's family spelled their name both ways, but was usually Echols in Wilkes County, Georgia. I have plenty on the Echols but am trying to push them further back. I have them back as far as Edward Echols the Revolutionary Soldier but need lots more. I am also wanting to get further back on Alford's family because his people were also in the Revolution. I have many assumptions but not enough hard evidence yet. Have you done much on your Carruths? Edward Echols listed Rebecca Echols as "Carrouth" on his will which can be found online. I searched a long time before I found out who she had married and it was Alford. I believe I found the info in a book. At any rate I would love to hear from you. My other email is: nononoall@juno.com Anyone else with info on our Carruths would be welcome to contact me.
