    2. In a message dated 3/23/1 11:00:30 PM, you wrote: <<I am looking for any information re: Jesse Leonard Huff, born 26, Oct 1879 in Illinois. I have traced him up to 18, Dec. 1946 in Osceola, Mississippi, Arkansas where a divorce was obtained by Trudie Snider Huff from J.L. Huff. At one time Jesse Huff was married to a Nellie (maiden name unknown) Huff and they lived in or around Jonesboro, Ark. They were divorced 14 July, 1944. Jesse Huff deserted his Illinois family in the early 1920's and we have been told he died in Arkansas some time around 1985 although no death certificate can be located. Anyone having any information re: Jesse L. Huff we would be very appreciative. My 85 year old mother-in-law would love to know the final resting place of the father she never knew. >> May not be your Jesse L. Huff but there is a Jessie L. Huff listed in the California Death Index: born in Illinois in 1888; died in San Bernadino County in 3-26-1970. Could be a relative maybe? Good hunting.

Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Mississippi/10736 Surname: Wever, Weaver, Goss ------------------------- Sherry I am looking for info on George "Stoney" Wever (Weaver) who married Fannie Wilson. He had a brother Frank and sister Maude who married a Moore. They had children: Tom, Ben (Buck), Earnest (Doc), Mabel Clair (who married Horace Goss), Ollie (who married James Mashburn). My family notes are sketchy as to whether Fannie Wilson married Baxter Baker or if Earnest's wife Fannie Chambers married him. That marraige produced J.B. Baker. Mabel Clair was born on Island 35 Reverie, Tipton County, TN. These names, locations and dates sound too close not to be related somehow. Anything you know would be appreciated. I almost went nuts trying to find Island 35. I just found it today. That led me to look in the Arkansas listing where I found your message. Please let me know at e-mail address [email protected] Linda McDonald
