Posted on: Mississippi Co. Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Mississippi/10785 Surname: Teague ------------------------- Can anyone tell me if there is a LaBass Cemetery at Pecan Point in Mississippi County? Am trying to find where my grandmother, Pollie Ann Teague is buried. Have sketchy information that this is where she's at. She died approx. October 1925. My mother was born Feb. 2, 1925 and she was supposed to be 8 mo. old when her mother died. We were told they were living in this area when she died. Any information would be greatly appreciated as my mother wants to put flowers on her mother's grave and relieve the pain she has felt all these years not knowing where her mother was. The Crider and Carson names are not ringing a bell for me right now - though I have heard of Carson Lake in Mississippi County. Members of my family (HUDSON, HOUCK, McHENRY) lived in and/or near Luxora and Double Bridges (near Tomato)from 1908-1960. Courthouses in Blytheville and in Osceola maintain county records. You would need to check both.

Delories: Since Sarah was married in 1882, perhaps she is shown in the 1880 census, living with her parents. I think you will find this census for Mississippi County on the web site for that county. Good luck. Dema Daugherty Magers

Posted on: Mississippi Co. Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Mississippi/10774 Surname: Paxton, Rice ------------------------- Hey, best of luck. We've got an Rice that married Amos Paxton at Stoddard County, Missouri about 1876. She was Eliz E. Rice and she is on other documents (such as Martha Wilks' social security number application) as Evelin Paxton. Maybe she's the Evelin Rice from Big Lake ( she'd thought that she was born in AR, but at 2years moving from another state you know- no one's memory is that good. Did you ever write to Cecil King and talk to him or are you building from scratch?
