Manila was formerly named Cinda. Cinda had its own post office in 1888 and the first postmaster was Isaac H. Smith. >From Civil War records I know that in 1890 Cinda was spelled with an "S" Sinda. Rosetta

Posted on: Mississippi Co. Ar Query Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Ar/Mississippi/10799 Surname: DUNN ------------------------- I am seeking any information about my great-uncle Dr. Daniel Dunn who died in August of 1909 in Blytheville, Arkansas (Mississippi County). He left Ingersoll, Ontario and travelled to Chicago and then on to Blytheville where I believe he practised medicine for 10-12 years until his death at age 37 from typhoid/malaria. Do you know anything of him?
Thank You Dottie, I feel that our soldiers past and present do deserve a special place on our genealogy mailing list or any other list going. Thanks a lot ~Debbie In McLean County, Illinois~
