What the heck it's worth a shot as their son and family is buried in Elmwood! They are Joe A and Cora E Johnson. It would be way too easy for them to all be together now wouldn't it??? I am interested in ANY watkins, Wright , or Crenshaw buried in Mississippi County Ar. Especially Daniel W. Watkins d. date unknown, Silas W. Watkins, d. date about 1935 and Wright's would have died during the 1971/18 flu epidemic. 1.) Sarah E. Bifford ( wright)-- Ellie (Ellen) Wright, --Evie Evelyn) Wright. Sarah would have been born in 1899, and one of the girls would bave been born 1909-1910. There were three of them ( sisters) that died in like four days. Appreciate ANY help. Thanks. I was there, in Bassett. I could not find his grave. I stopped at ( I think) city hall. I told the lady there that I had heard the Bassett Cemetery had flooded in 1937 and had washed away several graves, stones and all. She told me that was correct. There are some folks that take care of the graveyard there, all volunteers. I have the telephone of the man who keeps the books for that graveyard. I suppose who is burried and where. I have been unable to reach him. He is a local farmer and works many hours. ( according to the lady at city hall.) I will give you his telephone number by private mail if you want it, email me and I will pass it on.
