By any chance is Fayoma Louise Wiseman part of your family? Fayoma Louise Wiseman b: April 24, 1930 in Camden, Tennessee d: July 3, 1975 in Berkley, Michigan . +Raleigh Dewey Huey, Jr. b: January 6, 1929 in Elbridge, Obion Co., Tennessee d: November 18, 1968 in Detroit, Michigan If this is the same family I would love to share information. I have alot on the Huey's. Sue Huey Broken Arrow, OK
Sue, I don't recognize the name, however, It could be there. I have not done much with my Wiseman family. We have some strange ( not common anyway) names like Chenaby (sp), Lafayette, Capus (sp) Caldonna. I will get into my Wiseman info and see if I can locate Fayoma. Stay in touch. We might find a common ancestor. Sue, My name is Glenda Romine. I live in Jonesboro. Some of my Streeter relatives were born in Blytheville. I think they were farmers. Some of them moved to Joiner or Bassett. If I had some of the history of Blytheville it mght help in knowing what happened to them in that area. I have also been asked by some of the black Streeters if the white Streeters in that area ever held slaves. That is a good question. Might also find out about that from some history. Any help appreciated. Cathy, My name is Glenda Romine and I live in Jonesboro AR. I have been busy searching some other lines in my family, but my mother's maiden name was Wiseman. I do have some hand written information that she left me. She discovered that our relative, Jim Wiseman, came as a stowaway on a ship from England when he was very young. She seemed satisfied with that and did not do any more. This was many years ago before internet. My family came from Tenn. to AR and settled in Poinsett Co. We have lots of relatives in Tenn. Some are related to Bakers and Putmans. If any of this sounds familiar let me know. I can send you what I have. I would rather have a mailing address because all I have is handwritten and not typed into a program. Let me know. In 1870 my gr-granfather William Welch is listed in this county. He is said to have lived and grown up around Wilson, and then farmed on Island 35, before going to Tipton Co., TN. They lived in Wilson around 1892-1895, where he worked in a sawmill ?, and one time there was a flood and they had to be resued off the roof of the house. Sallie Welch is his mother. Are they related to any other Welch's in this county? We have been at a dead end on this line for a long time, and would love to hear from anyone who has anything on them. Rita

Hi, My great, great grandmother was Belle Bonds. She was born Jan.10,1864 and died Oct.1, 1952 and was laid to rest in a Mausoleum in Okla. City, Okla. She married William Oliver Bishop on July 7, 1878 in Holland, Pemiscott Co. Missouri. They were together all thier married life so I doubt this is Belle Bonds you are looking for. Abner Valentine Bishop was thier 2nd child. Thier 4th son, William H. O. Bishop was my great grandfather. I will be glad to share what info I have if this is who you are looking for. Abner Valentine Bishop was born Nov.21, 1882 and died Dec.17, 1966. He was married to Susie Hutchinson and they had twins, Parmer and Panola and a daughter Eva.
