She is reported to be Cherokee or part Cherokee, "adopted" as in infant by the Johnson family. Possibly "Trail of Tears".....????

HERRELL was suppose to have died in Mississippi County, AR in the winter and taken by wagon to be buried in Senath, Dunklin, MO in the spring. William is listed in the household of John HEREL in the 1900 Census in Wayne County, MO. Can anyone help add to or unravel this line of mysteries? Would be grateful for any assistance. There is a mississippe count MO just a little north of Blytheville, the new bridge at MO crosses into mississippi county mo. Hope this helps

From the road the stones look to be in bad shape, weed and trees have over grown and taken over the cemetery.

I'm looking for any information on the family of Silas WHITE Sr.b. 1777. I am really interested in finding out information on his 2 sons children. Benjamin H. White b. 1800 Robert B.White b. 1804 I have info on his son Abraham Tollet White already. I'm trying to link my husband's Grandfather Jefferson Thomas WHITE b. 1874 with this family line. I know that he was living after marriage in Lawrence Co.AR 1910-Strawberry Twp 1920-Jessep Twp, 1930 Monroe Twp. They eventually moved to Blytheville, AR. Miss Co. sometime after that. If anyone goes to the Blytheville Library often and would be willing to lookup an old obit for me, I would really appreciate it. I called the library yesterday only to be told that they could not copy any old newspapers anymore because they are too fragile?? I thought they had them on Microfilm?? So this would possibly entale transcribing the obit it not able to copy.
