The Boone Co cemeteries are on line at the Boone Co web page. It's just possible that you might find this unknown Williams who apparently died before 1880 in one of these cemeteries. I find no record of a Mary Smith marrying a Roberts who died before 1870 nor a Mary Smith Roberts marrying a Williams before 1872 in Marion Co records. Nor do I find any records in Marion Co of a Joseph Dodson marrying a Hannah B. Williams. Both these surnames are just as common in Boone Co AR though. Best of luck in your search.
