In the 1860 census of Marion County, Union Twp., there was was a Philip Cooper (age 27) and his wife, Margaret, and family. Also in Marion County, Union Twp was a John Cooper (age 33), his wife, Martha, and their family. Can someone confirm (or otherwise) that Philip and John were brothers--both sons of Thomas and Jane Cooper of Cannon County, TN in 1850. Does someone know what happened to Philip and John?
