If you'll take a look at the MCAR web page http://www.rootsweb.com/~armarion, you'll find that the Historic Genealogical Society of MCAR has several books for sale - some of the titles might prompt you to check with us to see what specific information you're searching for might be in these volumes. "Genealogies of MCAR Families 1811-1900" [Big Blue for short] contains a wealth of genealogical data on over 400 families who settled here in the 1811-1900 time frame. As co-editor of this book as well as the sequel to it, I have access to quite a bit of information - and it's all cross-referenced to spouse families :-))) An upcoming project of the Society is to publish information that locates, names, and tells a bit about as many as we can of the towns, communities, post offices, cross roads, etc. that have graced MCAR for nearly 175 years.
