Gosh, I thought our family invented this!!! :) We do this too and have since I was a kid. My husband still doesn't quite get it though. We crawled into bed at 12:30 am on Christmas eve morning and he says...What is it...Christmas Present? I said No, it's Christmas Eve Gift...and now I won!! We also make the early morning phone calls! Nice to know someone else does this. Both my parents and grandparents born and raised in Marion Co. Maybe it's a Marion Co thing? Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Jeana
