Looking for possible HOGAN, or HOGIN ancestors in or near Marion Co., AR. in mid to late 1800's. Think first name was Joseph or Jacob (?). This is my husband's aunt's family that I am trying to help them with. She is 92 yrs. old and memory is fading. She is not sure if surname was HOGAN or HOGINS. This was her 1st husband's (maternal)family. Said they could also have lived in MO. Think they may have been part Native American, but not sure. Appreciate any help or leads. Thanks.
