He was the son of William Bailey and Elizabeth Kennymore Raines He came to Ark with his parents from Walker Co Ala in the fall of 1869. He married Sarah Hannah Loggains ,dau of MAJOR ANDSarah MULLINS loggains in 1876 Their children were: [1] Robert Carroll [never married] born 7-4-1877 [2] Sarah born 2-27-1879 married Thompsy Harris [3]Jane born 8-31-1880 married Sam Davis [4]Dicie born 3-30-1883 married Lee Bearden [5]James Oliver born 10-15-1885 married Dora Lay [6John Newton born 6-25-1887 married Anna Baker Bud and Hannah settled in Searcy Co ark, Bud died of a heatstroke while working in the hay field in 1889 Hannah died in 1932. they are buried in the Water Creek Cem at Freck ,Ark. --part1_3f.101fa9cb.27ab4601_boundary--
