Jean, I do not know the parents of Drew Corbin. He is listed in the 1920 Okmulgee OK Census as Drew M. Corbin and I had always guessed, note only guessed that he was either the son or grandson of the Drew M. Corbin who was in Company F, 15th Texas Cav. on the Confederate side during the civil war. I have not looked up the details on either of these gentlemen. Drew M. Corbin b. 22 Dec 1895 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma. d. 15 Sep 1950 in Stanislaus Co. CA and was buried there. He married Lucy Elizabeth Kaler b. 16 Mar 1898 in Rush, Marion,Arkansas. d. 22 Aug 1970 Stanislaus Co. CA. both are buried in Empire. I only know of two children (might be still living) Alta Mae Corbin b. 24 May 1916 m J. B. Guinn. They had a daughter Patsy that has been married four or more times. A second daughter Effie L. Corbin b. 14 Nov 1919 who married Fred "Mutt" Alsup. I don't know if they had children. I am related to the Kalers and that is how I came to research this family. I will ask the other Marion County searchers, they might know more about him than I do. Let me know if you find something.
