Thanks for the offer to help. If anyone has the Mt Echo on film that would like to help in the transcribing let me know. I'm forever indebted to Gladys Brown for all of her work in abstracting the information on local people from the Echo. As everyone knows this type of work is very time consuming. The other way people can help is to send me any information you find on Marion Co as you browse the web. I never have time to go surfing. And, if any of you have NOT submitted your own family genealogy to be put on the Marion Co site - send it to me. I won't get it up the next day but I'll get it on-line as soon as possible. The instructions on how to send me the information is found on the Family Genealogy page (link from the Main page will get you there) And, if anyone is willing to transcribe a Marion Co census that would be wonderful. The Marion Co census (scanned copies) are on CDs and can be purchased from Heritage Quest (http://www.heritagequest.com) for around 15.00 or so.
