Your timing couldn't have been more apropos, Jerry. The past 2 days (13 and 14 Oct) have been the 55th Annual Turkey Trot Festival here in Yellville Yes, complete with the Miss Drumsticks Pageant, wild turkeys released from low-flying planes, National Wild Turkey Calling Contest, and all the rest. It was a wonderful 2 days - as usual. Any idea where the Historical Society of Marion Co can get a copy of this magazine? Or a copy of the info on Turkey Trot and Miss Drumsticks? It sure would be a wonderful thing to add to our collection of history about the county. Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us.
