    3. Pauline, Thomas Shelte Williams was buried in the Hurst/Teagarden Cemetery and I expect that his wife Mary Polly Hurst might have been buried there as well. Many of the stones have been destroyed by farming and neither of them have a stone there now, that I have found. Sorry I do not know who Thomas' sister was. I would like to have that family structure if you have it. We will be having a cemetery working this Saturday 21 and one of the things we plan to do is probe in the ground to see if we might uncover some stones that have been toppled over and just covered up over the years. John Hurst, the gentleman who originally donated the land for the cemetery is buried there but his stone, if he had one, is also missing. The Hurst Family came from Kentucky about 1811 along with the Wood family. I think some of them that came here were also born in Tennessee so I don't know if that just happened on the way or what. Pauline I will put this on the Marion County list and hope that someone can help with your family.
