According to "Genealogies of Marion Co Families 1811-1900" published 1997, Thomas Shelte Williams had at least 2 sisters and one brother. The names of their parents are not yet known to the best of my knowledge. Elijah Williams b KY 1795 m/1 ___; m/2 Hannah Ramsey (Adams) Kellough (daughter of James and Phebe [Davis] Adams, widow of John Kellough) b Christian Co. KY 15 Jan 1806 d Baxter Co AR 1885. Miriam Williams b KY 1790/1800 d MCAR 1840/1850 bu Hurst Cemetery m Abram Wood Jr (son of Abram Wood Sr) b KY 1780/1790 d MCAR 1840.1850. Rachel Williams d MCAR 4 Nov 1834 bu Tom Wood Cemetery m 1828/9 William "Snappin" Wood (son of Abram & Eady [Yates] Wood Sr.) b KY 1807 d MCAR 8 Sep 1879 bu Hurst Cemetery. The fact that the Adams family into which the Williams family married came from Hopkins Co KY and environs may provide a clue as to where in KY the Williams family originated. Not sure how close Hopkins is to Christian Co, but it's in the western part of the state so that might provide a clue. Hope this is useful.
