Has nothing to do with genealogy, but for those who are from Yellville and vicinity. On page 30-31 of "Civilization", a new (to me) magazine, the "magazine of the Library of Congress", August/September 2000, there is a picture of some 20+ pairs of feminine legs, (torsos and faces not seen) under a wide panel, with a sign above "Miss Drumsticks 1953", from the Turkey Trot Festival, Yellville, Arkansas. It is part of the "Local Legacies Project" of the Library of Congress. Haven't had the chance to visit Yellville, the home town of my great grandfather, Joseph Bennett, and his father and mother, Mms. Joseph Bennett. Joseph and family one of the early settlers of Crooked Creek. Looking forward to a visit. Jerry Bennett, Space Coast of Florida
