He married Louisa Jane Haskins,orphaned dau of Hamilton and Charity Gibson Haskins in 1868 in Walker Co ala. their first child Minervia Adeline was born there June 23 1869. They left Ala with other Raines and Haskins and arrived in Boone Co ark in April 1870.then moved shortly to Taney Co Mo. their second and last child Francis Alice was born in Taney co Jan 18 1871. when she was a few months old her Father Robert Was killed in a Knife fight in Forsyth[see S.C.
