Moore Robert, There was an Edmonds family (Brice Edmonds and wife Chelnessie PATTERSON) who migrated from VA to become early settlers of Jefferson Co TN. They were connected to the PATTERSON line from Jefferson Co TN and the LAFOLLETTE/LAFARLETTE line from VA>Sevier Co TN. All three families were in northern AL (Marshall/Jackson/Madison Co) by 1850. About 1871, my Lafarlette line migrated from AL to Marion/Baxter Co AR/Ozark Co MO. Try checking northern AL for your Edmonds line; they might be connected.
