    3. Sheryl, according to "Cemeteries of Marion Co" by Marian Burnes, I find Yellville/Layton Cemetery: J J Covington 7 April 1821 - 12 Jan 1902. Julia [Covington] Estes, w/o William 1 Jan 1855 - 28 Oct 1900. "A loving wife, A Mother dear, A faithful friend lies buried here." If you'll check the Baxter Co 1880 census for Union Township #84, you'll find James J and Mary J Covington (the kids match). And 2 doors down at #86 are John P and Cuba Covington. My guess is you'll find her buried in Baxter Co. I don't have any Baxter Co sources at home other than the 1880 census and I won't be back at the library for at least 2 weeks. You might contact Vera Reeves leroy@centurytel.net and see if she can look it up in "Of Grave Importance" by Gene and Margie Garr. How'd your mom's trip go? Really sorry I didn't get up with her. Their schedule and mine just would not mesh :-(((. Oh, well. Them's the breaks sometimes. Did she get together with Dick Weast? That should have been worth all the tape recorders one could gather together <grin> Later.
