Unfortunately, Judy, there are no records in MCAR indicating where William Marion Brown and his wife Elvira Hearn (Dearman) Brown are buried. This family settled in Sugar Loaf Township. When Bull Shoals Lake was created on White River in 1952, much of this area went under water. The Corps of Engineers removed buried bodies from those cemeteries that would be flooded to other cemeteries. Many of these could not be identified because there were no headstones or the headstones had no writing on them. Linda Davenport has a list of these removals on the Marion Co page http://www.rootsweb.com/~armarion. Daniel Richard Brown was sheriff of MCAR 1864-1866. Maybe someone else on the list can be more helpful to you.
