Pleasant Taylor homesteaded 160 acres in section 14 and 23 Township 19 North Range 16 West in Summit Township MCAR in 1890. This land is about 3-4 miles northeast of the city of Summit (which used to be called North Yellville). You can view the location under Maps of the County at http://www.rootsweb.com/~armarion. You can view the MCAR 1880 census at this same site. I find no record for a Pleasant Taylor in the 1860 census. Mysty [email protected]
