    3. The Fifth Ozark Cultural Celebration will occur Friday and Saturday, September 15 & 16, at the John Paul Hammerschmidt Center, North Arkansas College, Harrison, Arkansas. Nine speakers and performers will talk about topics as diverse as the Civil War in the Ozarks and Tourism in the Ozarks. Other topics are: "The Image of the Ozarks," "Quantrill and His Guerrillas," "The Timber Industry in Searcy County," "The Williams Family" – a Civil War guerrilla band, "Ozark Tales and Legends," "The Civil War Peace Society," and "Ozark Folk Music, Songs and Ballads." There is no charge to attend any or all of the talks and performances. The only charge is $10 for dinner Friday evening to go with Kenneth Barnes' talk "The Williams Family Civil War: How an Ozark Farm Family Became a Guerrilla Band." In addition county historical and genealogical societies will have tables with information about their counties and will have publications for sale. For more information contact either: W. K.
