Dear Mysty, Are Joseph L. and George W. Goodman mentioned in "Genealogies of Marion County Families 1811-1900? George is my Great Grandfather, and we are trying to determine if Joseph L. Goodman was his father. Joseph was born in 1818 and George was born in 1838. E. D. Goodman was George's wife, but we cannot find out what E. D. stands for or what her maiden name was. We know that Joseph's wife, Mary Moore Goodman, was not the mother of George, because they were married in MO, in 1850, long after George was born. Any help that you can offer will be greatly appreciated. We cannot find a darn thing. Thanks again, Patti Goodman McSwain
