Hi Les:--Here's what I've found in the MCAR 1870 census. Little North Fork Township: #57 Elisha Friend 30 MO. Jemima [Casebolt] 30 MO. James R 1 AR. Stephen Friend 21 AR. Serena [Casebolt] 27 MO. #60 Peter Friend 58 MO. Malinda 46 AR. Elisha 22 MO. George 16 AR. Peter 16 AR. Alexander 12 AR. Milton 11 AR. [Note: In 1860 Peter was married to Sarah and James was married to Malinda, presumably related, and were neighbors. Looks like Sarah and James died 1860-1870 and Peter and Malinda married 1860-1870. George and Peter are NOT twins; they're step-brothers and, probably, cousins.] These are the only folks from your 1880 census list found in MCAR in 1870. Mysty shakerag@mtnhome.com
