Linda: I lived just on the edge of Turley until I was in high school. Cherokee Elementary was just down the road. I went to Williams Penn though. We lived at 51st St. N. & Peoria. Still live in Tulsa and now in my 40's. I love it. I think the "Turkey Town" probably has something to do with Turkey Mountain out in west Tulsa, don't you? Tammy
