I have been very fortunate for several of the older people of the Lead Hill area to entrust me with their collections. The family of Alma Gaines loaned me her collection of obituaries and funeral cards she collected of her friends and acquaintances from the Lead Hill area. I think she put it together in the mid 1980s so there is just a few in the 1950s and 1960s but more in later years. Many of them were born in the late 1800s and included people in the Peel, Lead Hill, Harrison, Diamond City, Bergman, and Omaha. Some include both an obituary and funeral card. There is 289 files but some have 2 files -- one for obituary and one for funeral card. We have put the index up on the Rock Fence Genealogy sight.
