If you receive an e-mail that reads "upgrade internet 2" do not open it as it contains an executable named "perrin.exe." It will erase all the data in your hard drive and it will stay in memory; every time that you upload any data , it will be automatically erased and you will not be able to use your computer again. This information was published yesterday in the CNN website. This is a very dangerous virus. To this date there is no known antivirus program for this particular virus. Please forward this info to your friends so they will be on the alert. Also check the list below, sent by IBM with the names of some e-mails that, if received should not be opened and must be deleted immediately, because they contain attached viruses. This way your computer will be safe. buddylst.exe calcu18.exe deathpr.exe einstein.exe happ.exe girls.exe happy99.exe japanese.exe perrin.exe keypress.exe kitty.exe11) monday.ex12)teletubb.exe The Phantom Menace prettypark.exe I Love You UP-GRADE INTERNET 2 Win a Holiday(e-mail) CELCOM Screen Saver or CELSAVER.EXE JOIN THE CREW O PENPALS HA HA HA SNOW WHITE A VIRTUAL CARD FOR YOU
The one about Snow White is serious. I know. It cost me $100 to save my data on hard drive. I still get a copy on e'mail every day or so. Just delete them, and so far, now new problems. Jerry
