Looking for information about the Thomas Stevens family that was in Marion County from ca 1845 and died there in ca 1852. His son, Henry, married Margaret Adams daughter of Matthew Adams and Priscilla Catherine Wolf 6-4-1845. Trying to find exact date of Thomas' death and place of burial. I believe Thomas' wife, Margaret Sellers Stevens also died in Marion County shortly after they arrived in the area. Their daughter Eliza Catherine had married Davis Hudspeth before they left TN and found after they arrived in Marion County that he already had a wife and children in TX. Family legend says there was court action on this. Was he related to the other Hudspeth's in Marion County? There was also a son, Foster Stevens, shown on the 1850 census. Haven't been able to find him after that unless he was the brother who went to TX with Henry after Thomas' death and his other name was William or Billie.
