I knew Jessie T. and Margaret Rains and their children. Mr. and Mrs. Rains are buried in the Welty Cemetery. Jessie T. Sr. was born 14 October 1886 and died 9 December 1965. Marget E. born 30 March 1891 and died 8 May 1977. They have a son, Orval Gene Rains born 25 March 1927 and died 20 April 1976. Orval is buried in the Welty Cemetery. On the Welty Cemetery list there is a Lillie Margaret born 22 Oct 1894 and died 6 February 1983. Thomas Jefferson Rains born 22 November 1889 and died 24 October 1940. I don't know who this is. I do know that Sam Rains, J. T., Sr. (Tom) and Margaret's son, who married Gertrude Stout Norman died in 1956 and is buried in Highland Cemetery in Okemah. I don't know if I can remember all of the Rains children but I will attempt to name them. Jack, Ethel, Orval, J. T., Jr., Bill, Sam and Iver are at least some of the kids. J. T. Jr., lives at Okemah and Jack lives in Oklahoma City. Ethel is married to Warren Baker. Bill lives in Mobeetie, Texas. Bill's grandson, Wade, is a deputy sheriff in Okemah.
