You'll find the MCAR 1880 online, Patricia, at http://www.rootsweb.com/~armarion. Look under Transcribed Records. While you're there, it might be helpful to check out the information and maps which help explain the Townships. Scroll down to "Maps." You'll find that Franklin Township was created in the 1870s from part of Little North Fork Township. This indicates that James Ledbetter didn't actually move - his "address" just changed. You'll also find this area is just across White River from Missouri. Folks have flip-flopped back and forth between AR and MO forever. It's my guess you'll find Isaac Tillman Ledbetter somewhere in MO in 1880. Did you catch the email yesterday from Thelma Nation re Nations and Ledbetters? If not, let me know and I'll forward it to you.
