Pat, Tammy, Thelma, and I have been digging around together in this family for a couple of weeks now. And we try to do most of our back-and-forth on the ARMARION list. That way, whatever data we come up with gets archived by rootsweb and is there for everyone to search. It also allows others to add their little tidbits (like Colleen did with the Ledbetter-Yocham marriage). I'm the only one that's not kin. I'm just a Marion Co researcher. And another society member and I compiled and edited "Genealogies of Marion Co Families 1811-1900" for the Historic Genealogical Society of MCAR. A Supplement to this book is in the works as I speak.
