Hello all! I want to reiterate what Mysty said to Pat. It is important, for a mail list to be successful and helpful to all, that everyone post to the list. This means that off-list communication helps no one. I can't state it stronly enough. Someone might find in your family a member of their own - a daughter who was "lost", perhaps. I will share an example. I think it was Frances who posted information on the NOWLIN family. I had a NOWLIN in my family but I didn't know who her parent were. I saw a posting that caught my eye and I was able to get the name of Monta Mae NOWLIN's parents. The list can save many of us a lot of time in finding our family members. We all have someone who lived in MCAR. That's why we're here, isn't it? It also helps the Gen Society and future researchers with their Marion Co. families. We have information that others don't have. Let's share it. It might even help Mysty find a missing link and make corrections to the upcoming SUPPLEMENT to "Genealogies of Marion County Families 1811-1900". You can be a part of this by using the list and getting to know others who share a common location in the the trek west - and AR was west when our families came to Marion Co. Thanks to all, B) listowner
