    3. Lucille, I find no record of a John Wesley King nor his son Alex King in either the 1850 nor 1860 census for Marion Co AR. A good place to look for these folks would be in the "AR 1850 Census Index" and the "AR 1860 Census Index" by Accelerated Indexing Systems. Each lists the name and age of everyone in the census for that year as well as the county where each resided when the census was taken. Most larger libraries and state archive libraries have these. Smaller libraries and historical and genealogical societies also often have them.
