Dear Don, Thank you very much for the history you recently posted on the removal of the Indians. I have read a book written by Eugenia Price on the removal of the Cherokee from Georgia. These were a very religious group of people, business owners, farmers and for the most part educated. However, none of this was even a consideration when they were torn from their homes and forced on reservations west of the MS. Yes, it was a very dark time in history.
