Although William Jasper was born in Marion County, his father and grandfather were born in North Carolina. Your mother is listed as married to Jeff Darden. The BURLESON genealogy is in the book "Genealogy of Marion County Families 1811 to 1900. This book is currently for sale by the Historical and Genealogical Society for $60, shipping included. This book lists most of the county families and they all married into the other families. This would be a valuable tool for you to start your research with.
