Colleen, Saw your query on the Marion list concerning California request. I can tell you that I've had the same experience. As long as you KNOW the record is in the county you requested, you will get it... eventually. It does take them a long time compared to other states I've dealt with. If you don't have the county... they cash your check and you never hear from them. Just a FYI. Good luck in your search!
