Hi Folks! I recently ran across an very interesting article in the Jackson Historical Society's quarterly that dealt with Capt. Thomas Benton Stallings, a steamboat captain on the White River during the post-war period. However, the article is replete with names of places and people concerned with the trade along the White River. I imagine that many of you will find mentions of your relations in it.
