I'm hoping someone on the list will have some info for me on Allen Trimble who appears on the 1840 census for Marion Co. ~ specifically, I'm looking for a Trimble young man who married a girl named Cynthia by 1850 ~ they had Matilda b. 1850, Mary A. b. 1842, and George b. 1844. By 1860, widow Cynthia Trimble turns up in Hunt Co. Texas with her 3 small children ~ am wondering who this family. Can find nothing ~ but did find Allen Trimble on the 1838 Carroll Co. AR list, which is where I suspect Cynthia's family to have been in that time frame. She was born in Tennessee.
