Rhio Gillis is the ARMARION email list owner. If it weren't for Rhio, we wouldn't have a genealogical email research list at all. Many of us were concerned about her during the earthquake in Washington State yesterday. And many of us were concerned about relatives and friends in the immediate area of the earthquake. Rhio and several other list members provided accurate, first-hand information yesterday - far more quickly than the news media - and many of us are deeply grateful for their thoughtfulness. Normally, this site is not a chat room. Normally, it is a genealogy site - and a darned good one, too. But, once in a while, concern and worry about kith and kin take precedence over genealogical research - even for the most avid researcher.
