I just about hit the floor just now when I saw your posting. Dortha passed away Monday (4/28/03), and I was doing a search in Google to make sure I was spelling "Sasakawa" correctly for her obituary. I have to say I was pretty shocked to find "Pee-Wee" and "Edith" in the second hit. I don't know if I will have any additional information for you, but my father, John, is still alive, and he met Mom in Norman, OK back in the mid-1950s, so he will probably be able to provide something for you. I was always stumped by the fact that in my whole life, I never met any of my uncles, and that Mom never really talked about her family at all. In the last few years, largely because of my mother's prolonged illness with Polycystic Kidney Disease, and because of its hereditary nature, I've learned that Edith probably suffered from it, too, and that migt have been her cause of death.
