I am trying to put together a time line for the area of Lead Hill-Yellville-Carrollton. I am looking for specific dates when events took place which affected these communities. Some things I have, some things I know about but do not know the date. Would appreciate any help. Here are some of the events I know about. 1836 - Arkansas became a state 1839 - Benge - Trail of Tears - passed through Yellville - do we know a month? 1856-1857 Mt Meadows Massacre - when did they leave Carroll County? Month - Oct 19, 1861 - 16th Infantry musters at Carrollton, Carrol County, Arkansas When did the County Courthouses burn in Yellville and Harrison? I think Yellville burned twice during civil war ????? Harrison burned once during civil war and once the night after a "Moving Picture" was displayed on the side of the building When did the Mincy Meteor hit? 1860s???? Any other happenings in the Lead Hill/Dubuque/Sugar Loaf area of Boone County and neighboring counties of Marion and Carroll. Would appreciate any help. Reta
