Pamela, in 1997 the Historic Genealogical Society of Marion Co AR (HGSMCA for short) published "Genealogies of Marion Co Families 1811-1900" (Big Blue for short). There are about 400 families covered and each is cross-referenced to spouse families (where known). Sources are included at the end of each family. There are no stories or family legends or pictures - it's strictly genealogical data. Thomas Shelte Williams, his known siblings Elijah, Miriam, and Rachel, and the descendants of Elijah and Shelte are on pp 446-449. Descendants of Miriam and Rachel are found under their spouses on pp 460-467. I am very curious. I have a Mr. Williams...married to widow Mary Smith Roberts...they had a daughter Hanna Bertha born 1872?. Mary was a widow Roberts in 1870 and a widow Williams in 1880. They were probably in the Sing Sang Holler Road of Boone Co. - near Marion Co - up the road from Harrison Boone Co. We have searched and searched and have not been able to locate which Williams is the father. Does anyone know of a Mr. Williams that married Mary SMITH Robert (Polly) in 1871 or so, after the census in 1870. Hanna B Williams married a Joseph Dodson and went to Wilburton OK, where Joseph died. They had a son that died (Clyde or Claudie) probably before they left for OK. My grandmother Maggie was born 1896 in Wilburton OK. June March jmarch@pe.net
