March of Dimes Sponsor Request Dear friend, I am again walking and raising money for premature babies. Our walk will begin on April 19, 2008 at 9 am at NEO A&M College I am asking you to sponsor me as I walk for this worthy cause. Imagine a baby who can wear your wedding ring on its upper thigh or on its upper arm. A baby whose fisted hand is size of nickel. In our country over 500,000 babies are orn prematurely each year. Of those we do not know what causes the prematurely for nearly half of them. March of dimes is working to find out the cause for this, March of Dimes funded cure for Polio and has also funded many more such breakthroughs. Grover Cleveland (Former president) had such a premature child her name was "Ruth" (this is where famous candy bar Baby Ruth got its name) (according to March of dimes PR dept.) She was the size of original candy bar and weighed only 2 pounds. Unfortunately she did not survive. She died before her 3rd birthday. My team "Marching for Miracles" is doing all we can to help this cause. Our goal this year is $1000 and we hope you will help us reach this goal.
