Joy Each year, each Masonic Lodge will submit a report to the Grand Lodge of the state which will list the names and positions of all of the officers of the Lodge for that year, a list of members, names of members that joined that year, names of members that have died during the year, any special awards received by any of the members and in general that sort of thing. >From the questions received on this subject, it sounds like that is the type records that people are talking about. In general, the staff at the State Grand Lodge try to be helpfull to people doing research on relatives, but they do not have a lot of staff to do that sort of thing. However, if people know the name or number of the lodge, or location and approx year, they will in general try to give people the information requested. However, in many cases all the information they have is yes that person was a member of Lodge No. xxx during the year of xxxx. Olan Watkins
