I'm trying to find if my great x2 grandpa, George Washington Vaughan was in either the Union or Confederate armies during the Civil War. He lived in Madison County, Arkansas and was born in 1840. He was the son of Benjamin F. Vaughan, of Madison County. Anyone with any informaiton, please let me know.
