I have a death index listing for Martha THOMAS, died Madison Cty, 3/1/1948 age 75. I also have four other listing for a Martha or Mattie THOMAS in other counties. I is believed that my ggrandfather and his wife Mattie Stem Thomas were from Madison Cty. Is there someone there who could check an obituary on this Mattie Thomas to see what kind of information is there. I am hoping to find relatives listed to narrow down the list. Also , I am in Kansas and have few AR. Census records for this area available to me without have to order them in. Could someone check the census records for 1880/1900 to see if the family of Alonzo THOMAS is listed. There may also be Thomas neighbors listed. I really would appreciate it greatly. I have a lot of ancestors who seemed to be in the area.
