before they were in AR, you might be able to trace Pharis, Fancher, and Grigg back to the hills of WV. Actually, Grigg is probably out of the Quaker Greggs of DE. That is where the Groggs of Augusta Co, VA, got their start. Pharis is a BIG name around Pendleton Co, WV. Jeff, The Pharris/ Phariss Family I have back to 1771 in VA. I only have in formation on two brothers so far, Samuel & Robert. Samuel died in Lawrence Co MO, and Roberts' son James, died in Arkansas. This is the family that connects to Madison and surrounding counties. You are correct. The Griggs/Grigg families came through TN and VA and back to DE. -----Original Message----- From: armadiso-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:armadiso-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of ffejlny@juno.com Sent: Monday, November 12, 2007 2:43 AM To: armadiso@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [ARMADISO] Pharris/Phariss, Fancher, Grigg, Bolinger & Related Fam ilies before they were in AR, you might be able to trace Pharis, Fancher, and Grigg back to the hills of WV.
